Today, we have an 08 Jeep Wrangler JK 4x4 sporting the awesome 4" Rough Country X-Series Suspension Lift Kit. This kit is super easy to install and comes with everything you need to do the job right. This kit comes with both front and rear control arms, High Performance 2.2 Series shocks and sway bar quick disconnects!

We continued the install by wrapping 35x12.50x18 Toyo: Open Country M/T Tires around 18" KMC XD: Addict Wheels. This Jeep turned out amazing and rides better than it looks!

Top Gun Customz recently took the long plane ride over to Compton, California where the Pro Comp, USA warehouse facility resides. We were given a tour of the building and well as got a few sneak peeks at some prototype new products. We also got an exclusive look at the TransAmerican stocking/distribution facility. Their warehouse was impressive to say the least. We were able to snap a few pics of Pro Comp and TransAmerican so you guys can see the inner workings of these awesome companies.

Installed - TGC Dual Steering Stabilizer & Bilstein Shocks on an 07 Ford Super Duty F250 4x4

Today, we have a 2007 Ford F250 Super Duty 4x4 that came in with only a leveling kit. the customer wanted to replace their old, word out shocks with the great technology of (4) Bilstein Shocks. This made a HUGE difference in the ride of this Super duty. Also, to compliment the new shocks, we installed our very own TGC Dual Steering Stabilizer w/ Bilstein Cylinders. This kit will only work if you have AT LEAST 2" of lift in the front (leveled). WILL NOT WORK with stock height trucks! These stabilizers are a great way to improve your ride and give you more control over those new tires your going to get with that lift.

We'll start the week off by showing off this 2011 Toyota Tacoma 4x4 that came in recently. We installed 6" Pro Comp Suspension Lift Kit. This lift kit went on great as usual and made this Tacoma really have a mean stance.

To compliment the smoke gray color of this Tacoma we mounted 35x12.50x18 Nitto: Terra Grappler M/T Tires on 18" KMC XD: Revolver Wheels. This Tacoma took the lift very well and coupled with the wheel and tire combination, it will definitely stand out from the rest!

2003-2011 Dodge Ram 2500/3500 4x4 Steering System Upgrade

Top Gun Customz has something that every lifted 03-up Dodge 2500/3500 4x4 owner will benefit from. Our new steering upgrade! No more ridiculous inverted Y or upside down T steering geometry!! Our new steering geometry has an independent drag link and independent tie rod.

If you have the 03-07 factory steering and have considered upgrading to the 08+ steering set-up, don't waste your money. This kit is an improvement over the 08+ steering, as you will see.

This is a much better design! Better geometry means less wear on the components and a much tighter feel in the steering wheel! Our new Drag Link is made from 1.5" solid alloy steel while the Tie Rod is made from 1.625" solid chromoly steel. The strength of these components will never let you down! There are four steering systems available. These are based on lift height and if you have the OEM upgraded steering (08+ steering).

There are two 3.5 - 6 inch steering kits and two 7 - 10 inch steering kits (this is referring to lift height). Check below to ensure you are buying the correct kit for your application. Our steering upgrades include the necessary tie rod ends needed to complete the install. That means no sourcing of additional parts to bolt this kit up. Everything is included. By using tie rod ends, the steering systems are 100% 50 states legal! Not too many steering correction system out there can say that! The 3.5 - 6 inch kits can be easily upgraded to the 7 - 10 inch kits as well.

This kit is for 7 - 10 inches of lift and for 03-07 trucks who do NOT have 08+ steering installed! (Keep in mind, some 03-07 owners opted to install 08+ steering on their trucks as an "upgrade"). As long as you do not have the 08+ steering installed, and have 7 - 10 inches of lift, this is the kit for you. If you have that steering on your truck, you will want to purchase our 08-11 kit.

Installed - TGC Steering Upgrade on an 06 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4

Today, we got to work on this 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 that we already installed our 8" short arm kit on a few years back. However, the customer wanted to upgrade to long arms to give a smoother ride. We also removed the rear blocks and upgraded to 8" Atlas Rear Leaf Springs to give the customer better ride.

To continue the project, we installed our brand new TGC Steering System Upgrade. The 7 - 10 inch steering upgrades provide approximately 6.5" of steering correction. This means at 8 inches of lift, you could have a super soft steering angle!

Today, we have another 2011 Jeep Wrangler JK 4x4 that came STRAIGHT from the lot to our install bay. We started this project off by installing a 2.5" Rough Country Performance Suspension Lift Kit. This kit boasts the Rough Country Performance 2.2 Series Shocks and Pro Rate Coils. This Jeep rides amazing!

We continued by wrapping 33.5x12.50x17 Nitto: Trail Grappler Tires around 17" KMC: XD Addict Wheels. This package was a great fit for this brand new JK and rides even better than when it rolled off the lot.

Friday's Featured Product! - Front Leveling Lift Kits for the 05-09 Ford Super Duty

Top Gun Customz is proud to offer our brand new Front Steel Lift Spacer Kits for the 05-09 Ford F250/F350 Super Duty 4x4.
These are manufactured in house by Top Gun Customz, which allows us to offer them at a reasonable price. We developed these because of their high demand.

These spacers relocate the lower spring bucket by placing the spacer between the axle and lower spring bucket. All you do is remove the coil spring, insert the spacer under the spring bucket and bolt it all back up. Ride quality is unchanged.

This morning we have a 2010 Toyota Tundra 4x4 that we installed a 6" Rough Country Suspension Lift Kit. The great thing about this lift kit is the fact that there is no modification to the stock differential mounts, drivetrain or exhaust. You find that in some Tundra kits on the market today. We also continued the install by wrapping 35x12.50x18 Toyo Open Country M/T Tires around 18" KMC: XD "Hoss" Wheels. This install went great as usual and the customer could not be happier with the aggressive stance and awesome ride of his Tundra.

Here is a 2008 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 that we already installed our 8" Long Arm Suspension Lift Kit on but the customer wanted to upgrade their steering system. So we installed the RIZE Industries 8" Steering Drop System.

Take a look at the draglink and tie-rod angles, these angles are closer to factory than most 6" lift kits provide with just a dropped pitman arm. This truck steers like no other! Rize's inclusion of an idler-arm, and the advanced drop bracketry for the pitman, arm are now a MUST for any Dodge wishing to stand tall and steer as well as, if not better than, factory.

Today, we have a 2008 Ford F150 4x4 that came in bone stock not too long ago. The customer already picked out the 37x13.50x20 Toyo: Open Country M/T Tires and 20" KMC: XD Monster Wheels before coming to us. So he just needed the right lift to make it happen. So we installed the 6" Rough Country Suspension Lift that is able to run 35" tires. So we continued with installing a Performance Accessories 3" Body Lift. As you can see now, the truck has a really aggressive stance. Check out the pictures on this cool install.

These are the same design as our Dodge and Ford blocks that we re-engineered to fit the Chevy applications. Thanks to our universal design, this kit will fit all of the following vehicles: 94-05 Ram 1500 4X4, 94-11 Ram 2500/3500 4x4! This kit is designed to reposition or re-clock the transfer case in a more fitting position, thus alleviating some of the angle that the front driveshaft will have after a lift is installed. This kit will clock the transfer case 11.56 degrees. It will allow you to use your OEM front driveshaft without making additional modifications. Works great for any lifted Ram with the below specs.

Note: This kit WILL NOT fit models with a 4 bolt transfer case design. This indexing ring is designed for vehicles that have a 2.69" Outside Diameter Output Shaft.

Today, we have a pretty cool install. This is a 2005 Ford F250 Super Duty 4x4 that came in not too long ago to get a few things done. We started by installing the 8.5" Skyjacker Suspension Lift Kit. This kit does not come with shocks, so we paired this kit with the great technology of Bilstien Shocks to give this lifted truck a nice smooth. To compliment the Bilstien Shocks on the truck, we installed our very own TGC Dual Steering Stabilizer with Bilstien Shocks for better control.

We continued with installing a new diesel programmer, upgraded some gears and also wrapped 38x13.50R20 Toyo Open Country M/T Tires around the awesome 20" BMF Novakane 6 Wheels. This truck looks and drives amazing! The install was no big deal for our guys as usual and the customer could not be happier with the results.

Each shock has a massive 3/4" Nitrotec Steel shaft, a billet aluminum valve circuit with digressive valving, a moly piston wear band, and a built-in poly bump stop and wiper assembly. 	Top Gun Customz is proud to release what this industry needs....progressive rate coils for the Dodge Ram 2500/3500 4x4's!! We have these available in the following lift heights...2.5", 3.5", 6", and 8". These ride WAY better than standard rate coils. Combined with a quality shock, like our Night Hawk Series Shocks found in this kit you will NOT find a better ride in a coil sprung Ram. Nobody else is offering these heights in a progressive rate.
Most coil springs have rates that are constant. If it takes 400 lbs to compress the spring the first one inch, another 400 lbs will compress it the second inch, and so on. With a progressive rate coil, the initial couple of inches of compression requires less spring rate than the remainder of compression. This improves your ride quality greatly, yet rate increases when it's called upon...say during off road. With progressive rate coils the first few coil wraps are more closely spaced than the remaining coils.

Top Gun Customz New Dodge Rear Lift Blocks: (Click for larger view)

These trucks use a dual center pin on the rear spring. Our blocks have 3 holes on the top side which those pins sit down into. This "locks" the block with the spring. Most companies use a "universal" rear block that lets the outside two pins "float" without locking into place.. Our blocks are also 3" wide, just like the spring and the spring pad itself. Why mount a CAST block that is 2.25" wide under a spring that is 3" wide? A full 3/4" of the spring will not be making contact with the block.

One of the hardest parts about lifting a Dodge is getting the steering geometry correct. Top Gun Customz has just made this task much easier; simply bolt on one of our track bar drop brackets, in conjunction with a drop pitman arm (included in this kit), and get your steering back in check! Made from 1/4" thick steel, this Top Gun Customz track bar drop bracket is strong enough to keep your axle properly centered when running a suspension lift!

Today, we have a 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 2WD that came in recently. The stock coil springs that the truck had started to sag terribly, so we installed new stock height coil springs to bring the truck back to stock height in the front. However, we didn't stop there. We installed a 2.5" Daystar Coil Spacer to bring this Dodge to a nice level stance.

2005-2011 Ford F250/F350 Super Duty Progressive Rate Coil Springs!

Top Gun Customz is proud to offer our line of progressive rate coil springs for the Ford F250/F350 Super Duty 4x4's!! We have these available in the following lift heights...2.5", 4.0 and 6.0". The ride and performance of these is incredible. Combined with a quality shock, you will not find a better ride in a coil sprung Super Duty. Nobody else is offering the variety of heights in a progressive rate coil.

Unlike stock coil springs, these springs have multiple, or progressive, rates. The initial rate of these coils (driving around town) is softer than stock. As the spring compresses more, the rate increases (heavy cornering, off road, etc. With progressive rate coils the first few coil wraps are more closely spaced than the remaining coils. These springs are really the best of both worlds....super soft on the street, and a higher level of performance and control off road.

These are shot peened and pre set. They are powdercoated black for a long lasting finish. We recommend pairing these with a quality shock to take the most advantage of these incredible coils.

Today, we had a very simple install on a 2008 Chevy Silverado 4x4.We installed our very own 2.5" Top Gun Customz Leveling Lift Kit. Leveling kits are a very economical way of adding extra lift to your vehicle without breaking the bank.

When shopping for a 2" kit, almost all kits on the market require you to cut the factory studs at the top of the strut, which is not recommended nor required with our kit. This is truly an innovative design unlike any other.

This truck should look familiar to you if you follow our installs. This is the 2011 Super Duty we previously installed a 6" Rough Country Suspension Lift Kit on not too long ago. Well, the customer got the lifting itch. He came back to get a set of 8" front coil springs to replace the 6" springs that came with the kit so he can have a little more lift. To match the newly added 2" of lift in the front, we installed 2" Rough Country Add-A-Leafs in the rear. We also replaced the white powder coated shocks that came with his kit to the great technology of Bilstein Shocks. The customer also provided the bull bar for us to install while we had the truck in the install bay. Check out the previous install post to see the changes.

Today, we have a 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4x4 that came in to get a 4" Rough Country Suspension Lift Kit. This kit is a full coil sprung lift. Which means, there are no spacers involved. Spacers are a great way to lift a vehicle, however a coil spring lift with IMPROVE your ride. This kit also features Performance 2.2 shocks for a better ride and control. To match the 2.2 shocks in the kit, we installed a Rough Country Performance 2.2 Steering Stabilizer. This Jeep turned out amazing and the ride is incredible!

We've termed these our "Black Ops Edition" line of packages for various models. These will be available thru Chevy dealerships. Installed - 3" of Lift & Dual Shock Setup on a 95 dodge Ram 1500 4x4

This is a 1995 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 that is a great example of how you don't always have to get a "kit in a box". We worked with the customer to make the PERFECT kit for them by mixing and matching from different manufactures. We started off by installing a dual shock setup in the front. This was our very own TGC Dual Shock Bracket, with Rough Country Shocks. We continued with a TGC 3" Spacer Kit, 1.5" Rough Country Rear Lift Block, Rough Country Dual Steering Stabilizer and TGC Custom Length Control Arms. The install went great and the customer could not be happier with the ride and look of his truck.

Installed - 5" Tuff Country Suspension Lift Kit on an 02 Toyota Tundra 4x4

Here we have a 2002 Toyota Tundra 4x4 that recently came in for some work. The customer already had the wheels / tires on before coming in, so we just installed the 5" Tuff Country Suspension Lift Kit. This Toyota Tundra lift kit uses new replacement heavy duty spindles that eliminate the need for ball joint spacers. Upper ball joints & bearings are pressed into the new spindles. Upper coil / strut spacers are used to lift the front end and maintain a factory ride. Replacement struts are not required. A lower subframe drops the lower control arms while stabilizing the front end with its one piece design.

Heres an install you don't see very often. A 2006 Hummer H3! Yea I know, a Hummer! Just like every other truck on the market, the Hummer H3 comes with a front factory rake. So we installed 2" Daystar Leveling Keys. This leveled the front nicely and the install took less than 30 minutes!

This mini-pack simply replaces the lower overload leaf. The 5 leafs are much thinner than the stiff leaf it is replacing which improves the ride in the rear and will free up some travel. The 3/4 and 1 ton trucks suffer from stiff factory springs. These packs soften up the rear but still maintain your O.E.M. load capacity. These are Made In the USA using only USA steel for a quality product. Many springs are made overseas today using inferior steel. These are the same great mini-packs used in many of our Pro Systems.

Today we have a 2008 Ford F250 Super Duty 4x4 that needed a slight boost. So we installed our 2.5" Top Gun Customz Lift Kit w/ Bilstien Shocks. This kit will fit both gas and diesel applications. This is for those wanting the perfect balance of performance and price. The patented Top Gun Customz leveling spacers will give your truck a dominating look while the Bilstein 5100 Series Zinc Finished Gas Monotube shocks give your truck a better than new ride! We finished this Super Duty up by installing 2" Rough Country Rear Add-A-Leafs to bring the front up slightly for when the customer is ready to load down the back.

Installed - 1" TGC Spacer Kit & 2.2 Steering Stabilizer Upgrade on an 04 Jeep Wrangler TJ 4x4

Here we have a 2004 Jeep Wrangler TJ 4x4 that was already sporting a 4" Skyjacker Suspension Lift kit when it came in. the problem was, once the customer installed the heavy front bumper and winch, the TJ sagged slightly in the front due to the weight of his new mods. So, to fix that problem, we installed our very own 1" Top Gun Customz Leveling Lift Spacer Kit. This did the trick perfectly with keeping the cost down. To further the install, we upgraded his old, tired steering stabilizer with the Rough Country 2.2 Performance Steering Stabilizer Upgrade. This did wonders for the drive-ability of this Jeep.

Here we have a 2010 Ram 1500 2WD that came in to rid of that pesky factory rake. To remove that factory rake, we installed our very own 2" Top Gun Customz Leveling Lift Kit. Our spacers are made from super heavy duty 1/4" thick laser cut steel. These spacers take around 20 minutes to install and most of our customers do this install themselves with simple hand tools.

Today, we have a stock 2001 Chevy 1500HD that came in with some worn out shocks. The customer was getting tired of feeling every little pebble in the road, so we installed the great technology of Bilstien Shocks. This was a VAST improvement from what the customer was used too.
